You can also do some small things every week that make a huge difference. For example, to sit with your feet in a foot bath and then file them. You should moisturize your feet every morning and evening. We go on our feet every day, so it is important to take care of them!
The Common Mistakes!
There are some things; you should look out for before you start doing a home pedicure. Today our experts further discuss in detail all methods to easily take care for your lovely feet.

Remove What Is Already There!
Start your pedicure to remove any old nail polish. Acetone dries out nails so please choose an acetone free nail polish remover. Also, note that the nails feel good to get rest from nail polish for a few days now and then.

Drizzle in a little oil or pour a pinch of normal salt for extra effect.
The Summer Foot Care is nothing with a scrub. But not too hard Now that your feet are soft and wet, take time to scrub them with a little coarse exfoliating scrub. Rub in circular motions. It facilitates blood circulation and the moisture more easily penetrates the skin.
Pat Dry Without Rubbing Too Much!
Dry feet well, with a clean towel. Do not forget to dry between the toes. One tip is to rub the cuticle with moisturizing cuticle oil or cream. Creams, oils, massages – all come in handy with our Summer Foot Care.
It Is time To Get Rid Of The Dry Skin!
Filing is everything to get some soft beautiful feet. Use a foot file with pumice stone or metal surface when working on the hard parts of the foot, especially the heel and foot-pad. Be gentle with stone and hard filers. Make sure you do not cut away calluses. It is easy to damage the underlying layers of the skin since your feet are soft.
Shape Your Nails!
Cut and file your nails into shape. Be careful – you can get ingrown toenails by cutting the nail too far. You will cut and not cut or file as far down on the nail side. The shape should reflect the nail band’s natural arch. Gently push the cuticles. Do not cut, it can damage the cuticle.
Remember to cut the toenails straight. Try not to clip the sides as this may cause in-grown nails. Did you know that there is more to your Summer Foot Care?

Summer Oils For Foot Massage
There are many different oils that, you can feel pampered with if you want, but otherwise any oil, cream or lotion can do the job. In massages, to enhance the feeling of calmness, oils are used. They also carry their own benefits to the skin and joints.
Every oil has its own properties just like creams and lotions. Some oils are organic, some oils get warm when you rub them, and there are aroma oils too. Aroma oils are absorbed by the skin and through our sense of smell. It will improve the effect of the massage. There are also oils with relaxing effects. For example, oils such as, Lavender Oil is, considered as a calming oil. Tea tree oil on the other hand carries anti-bacterial properties.
It is also nice and good for the body to stretch your feet. Take hold of one foot at the toes and pull your toes backward. It will tighten the muscles in the foot and calf. Keep that in half a minute, then switch to the other foot, and do the same.
As a second step, rotate your ankle clockwise and then anti clockwise for freedom of motion and stimulation of nerves.
Stretching is also good against the heel spur and the pain in the foot.
A Form Of Reflexology!
It is as ancient Asian medicine, feet consists of different zones that reflect different organs and body parts. By having a particular massage technology, pressing these zones on the feet can relieve and stimulate the internal organs.
Select Correct Shoes For Summers
It is also important to choose the right materials in the shoes. Try to opt for a material that lets your feet breath.
Leather is best, suede and canvas shoes are good, but not synthetic. It is too stuffy, hot and humid and it can lead to athlete’s foot. In addition, it can cause the nail fungus, which is very difficult to get rid of.
Comfort Zone In Summer Foot Care
Your shoe buying criteria should be the “comfort”. Wrong shaped shoes can cause several problems including de-shaping your pretty feet.
When you go for summer shoe shopping, remember sometimes a little bit of heel is better than a flat. If you see, a flat shoe that, is extremely flexible and can twist easily. You know it has no support. Thus, not a good shoe.
With flats try to choose a pair of shoes that offers support. Especially shoes, that offer support to the curve and the heel of your foot.
Buy Shoes That Fit-in!
Friction is not good for heat. A shoe that is too tight or loose will cause blisters.
If you decide to wear socks in summer. The socks should be cotton and washed at 60 degrees so that there are no bacteria remains. Toe Socks are great because the toes are then set apart.
We highly recommended not wearing the same shoes all the time, they need to ventilate and dry inside sometimes. This might not be a problem for summer shoes as they are already pretty airy.
Summer Nail Colors
Nail colors enhance the beauty of your hands and toes. Talking about nail colors, there is generally no winter or summer shades. There are no restrictions of what type of nail color is classified as summer and others as winters. However, when going for open toes, and sexy sandals, you would want to pay extra attention to the shades you choose.
Spring recalls you of vibrant colors and flowers.
In winters, you might want to go with one color like maroon or brown. Surely, spring and summer are the time to experiment with colors. As we mentioned in many of our articles, pay attention to your skin tone before you choose a shade. Choose a shade that either stands out on your skin, or that compliments your skin.
